Draft Coolaroo Reserve Action Plan

We are seeking your feedback on the Draft Coolaroo Reserve Action Plan.

Coolaroo Reserve is a relatively small 2.7 hectare bushland reserve that is important for habitat and as a wildlife corridor linking with larger bushland areas in Ferndale, Mowbray and the Lane Cove National Park. Coolaroo Creek runs through the entire length of the reserve, and there is a Bushcare volunteer group working to rehabilitate degraded bushland.

This draft bushland Reserve Action Plan contains detailed reserve, plant and habitat profiles; Statements of Significance relating to Aboriginal, local history and wildlife habitat; Impacts to habitat including encroachments; past achievements; and bushland management actions for the next five years. Actions include weed management throughout the reserve focussing along the creek line and regeneration work behind properties on Cramer Crescent.
