Willoughby Council has begun the first important and exciting steps in developing its new Community Strategic Plan, the Willoughby City Strategy and we want you to be involved.

The Willoughby City Strategy is our community’s vision for the future. It will underpin Council operations for the next 10 years and sets the direction for the City, its policies, services and activities.

A requirement of the State Government’s Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP&R), the Plan is the highest level of planning Council will prepare.

In developing the Strategy, Council must consult with our community to develop a shared vision of our future by exploring four important questions:

• Where are we now?
• Where do we want to be in ten years’ time?
• How will we get there?
• How will we know when we have arrived?
