Australia’s annual celebration of community, Neighbour Day, encourages us all to build better relationships with the people who live around us, so we can grow stronger and more connected communities.

The official national Neighbour Day this year is celebrated on Sunday, 25 March 2018. However you can Celebrate Neighbour Day anytime during the month of April 2018 by holding a community neighbourhood event.

    Do you have a fun idea! are you looking to get to know your neighbourhood and make new friends? 

    Add or comment on an idea below. When someone likes's your idea our Community Development Officer will introduce members via email so you can arrange a meetup or group activity. From their, you can organise a meet up with your new buddy.

    There are many ways to participate in Neighbour Day, whether it's a cuppa with your neighbour, a bush walk, a plant swap or a beach day - it’s completely up to you!

    When someone likes your idea, our Community Development Officer will introduce you to that person via email. From there, you can organise a meet-up with your new friend.
