St Leonards Central Site Consultation

Consultation has concluded

Council is seeking your comments on a proposal that has been received for land at 2 Chandos Street, St Leonards directly to the north of the St Leonards Railway Station.

The land involves property owned by Council, RailCorp and a private owner, the Alto Group. Council has not at this stage assessed the planning impacts of the proposal or supported the use of the Council land in the proposal. Council has given owners consent for the proponent to submit the proposal including the Council land to the State Government for the site to be declared as State Significant Development as it involves use of RailCorp land and building over the railway to create a public plaza.

The concept design that has been prepared by the proponent proposes three mixed commercial/ residential towers up to 55 storeys in height and a plaza over the railway corridor. The concept design is preliminary and would need further refinement and detailing before being formally exhibited for public comment if it is accepted as a State Significant Development.

Persons lodging submissions must declare political donations (including donations of $1,000 or more) made in the previous 2 years. Please note the attached privacy policy in relation to making a submission.
