Under the NSW Local Government Act, the Council is required to review its policy for the provision of expenses and facilities to elected members no later than 12 months after the election of these members.
In line with this legislative provisions, the Council on 27 June 2022 endorsed an updated policy being placed on public exhibition.

Submissions were sought on this draft policy in July-August 2022.
