Further Amendment to Willoughby Development Control Plan (WDCP) - Water Management

Consultation has concluded

Council is seeking comment on a further amendment to the draft Part C5 of Willoughby Development Control (WDCP) - Water Management before Monday 16 September 2019.

The purpose of the draft amendment is to allow a concession that does not require on-site detention or installation of a rainwater tank for minor developments.

Council resolved to include an amendment to item 16 in Table 1: Size of rainwater reuse tanks for minor developments, in the recently adopted amended Part C5 of WDCP which reads:

‘Notwithstanding items 11, 12, 13 and 14 above, alterations and additions to minor developments that do not result in more than 5% over the existing impervious area, providing the additional impervious area does not exceed 25m2.’

The draft amendment to item 16 in Table 1: Size of rainwater reuse tanks for minor developments, and the recently adopted amended Part C5 – Water Management can be viewed in the Document Library section of this page and at Level 4 of Council’s Administration building at 31 Victor Street, Chatswood from 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
