This well-loved space is one of Willoughby City's largest and most popular neighbourhood parks, offering a wide range of recreation opportunities for all ages and abilities. Click on the map hotspots to view existing park features:

Tell us how we can work together to expand current recreation activities onsite

Community feedback will be used to guide and inform Council’s future decisions on potential activation initiatives, and also for long-term planning and prioritisation of future renewals and upgrades in the park.

Engagement on Naremburn Park will uphold placemaking principles in alignment with Council’s Public Spaces and Recreation Strategy 2024.

Possible future activation initiatives

  • Racquet sport sessions - pickleball or padel

    Pop-up nets and equipment for casual play or beginner-friendly sessions

  • Bocce revival competition

    Bring back the bocce court’s original purpose with a fun community tournament and social event

  • Outdoor movie night

    A free community screening with a projector, blankets, and lawn seating

  • Community fitness class

    Free or low-cost outdoor yoga, boot camp or tai-chi open to all ages

  • School holiday activities

    Such as arts and crafts, nature play, or sports skills sessions for children

  • Community planting workshop

    A hands-on session to plant trees and herbs, and beautify the park

Once this engagement has closed, all submissions and comments will be reviewed, collated into an engagement outcome report and posted on this page. Everyone who took part in the engagement will be notified when the outcome report is posted. The community feedback will be used to guide and inform Council’s future decisions on potential activation initiatives, planning and prioritisation of future asset renewals and upgrades in the parkland (excluding bushland areas).
