Consultation has concluded

Amendments to Willoughby City Council’s 2020-2021 Fees and Charges is available here for 28 days public consultation from Friday 31 July until Sunday 30 August 2020, following Council approval for public exhibition on Monday 27 July 2020.

Background

During the period of exhibition of the Schedule of Fees and Charges 2020-21, the NSW State Government made pronouncements on new fees and charges. In addition, several new fees and charges were identified as required for infrastructure restoration works, and a change is proposed to a search fee for Outside of School Care.

Table 2 found in the support documents section on this page (and below) summarises the newly proposed or materially changed fees. As these fees were not included in the exhibited version of the Schedule of Fees and Charges 2020-21, they are now separately exhibited for a period of 28 days in accordance with Section 610F of the Local Government Act NSW 1993. Council will need to consider submissions arising from this exhibition before the fees can be adopted or imposed.

Further information about the Draft Operational Plan exhibition can be found here https://www.haveyoursaywilloughby.com.au/draft-operational-plan-2020-21

All feedback received will be reviewed before the final Operational Plan and Budget is presented to Council for adoption.

Please note: It is a requirement that all submissions for this project be included in publicly available Council reports. Personal details will not be provided.

For further information on the amendment to Fees and Charges please contact Council's Chief Financial Officer, Stephen Naven on 9777 1020.
