We'd love to hear your thoughts on the draft playground plan
Council is planning to renew Bicentennial Reserve playground in Willoughby. It is due for renewal as per Council's Asset Management Plan and is a routine upgrade of playground equipment. To achieve this, Council has now prepared a Draft Playground Improvements Plan and we would like to know your thoughts.
The draft plan includes a new play structure with double slide, fireman's pole, rock climbing wall and rope climbing nets, as well as a new swing set. New bench seats and a new bubbler with bottle refill are also proposed. For more information view the draft plan which can be found under the 'Document Library' heading.
Your feedback will contribute to the development of the final Playground Improvements Plan and will guide the future upgrade works to ensure this playground meets the needs of the community and its users.

Once the engagement has closed, all submissions and comments from the community and park users will be compiled and assessed, and will inform the final Playground Improvements Plan.
Implementation is expected in early to mid 2027.
