Consultation has concluded

Reserve Action Plans outline the main bushland management actions Council intends to deliver over the next five years to preserve and enhance local ecology. Currently we’re updating the Coolaroo Reserve Action Plan and asking for feedback.

Coolaroo Reserve is a relatively small 2.7 hectare bushland reserve that is important for habitat and as a wildlife corridor linking with larger bushland areas in Ferndale, Mowbray and the Lane Cove National Park. Coolaroo Creek runs through the entire length of the reserve, and there is a Bushcare volunteer group working to rehabilitate degraded bushland.

These plans are updated every five years to make sure they’re still relevant.

Key Actions for the Draft Reserve Action Plan 2025-2030 include:

● Removal of landscape encroachments

● Installation of signage

● Bush regeneration

Key changes to plan include:

● Plant species name updates

● Minor changes bushcare group work zone

● Editing of action numbers
