Draft site specific Willoughby Development Control Plan provisions for 65 Albert Avenue Chatswood (the Mandarin Centre)

Submissions invited - either by written submission, email or in the electronic submission form below - until 5pm Friday 17 December 2021


At its meeting of 3 November 2021, Council considered draft site specific provisions for 65 Albert Avenue Chatswood (the Mandarin Centre) to be included in a new Willoughby Development Control Plan (DCP).


Amendments to Willoughby Development Control Plan:

The draft site specific DCP provisions were prepared by Council following the decision of the Sydney North Planning Panel (as the consent authority) on 18 May 2021 to support a Planning Proposal on this site. The Planning Proposal was publicly exhibited between 22 October and 18 November 2020.


The draft site specific DCP provisions are consistent with the Chatswood CBD Planning and Urban Design Strategy 2036 (the CBD Strategy) and provide development controls for the site.

Exhibition Period:

The draft site specific Willoughby Development Control Plan provisions will be on exhibition from Friday 19 November 2021 until Friday 17 December 2021, and can be viewed here in the supporting documents visible on this page.

Exhibition Closing Date: Written submissions will be received up until 5pm Friday 17 December 2021 and should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, PO Box 57, Chatswood NSW 2057 or emailed to email@willoughby.nsw.gov.au(External link)(External link), or simply fill in the electronic submission form below.
