These reserves are small, relatively natural spaces in a crowded residential area where the built environment is displacing private gardens. They are within the former Torquay Estate in Castlecrag.

There are three sections: Sugarloaf Point and Road Islands, Former Edinburgh Road Reserve and Burrabru Reserve.

Key Actions for the Draft Reserve Action Plan:

  • Continuation of weed management actions by bushland regeneration contractors and Council staff
  • Developing interpretive signage identifying local and indigenous heritage.
  • Maintenance and monitoring of drainage lines

All community members who leave a comment will receive a response after the community consultation period.
