Consultation has concluded

Willoughby City Council has received community interest for Council to provide a footpath link between No 34 & 36 Deepwater Rd and No 16 &18 Kendall Rd, Castle Cove (see attached design plans).

The proposed footpath will provide an additional and more accessible link to the existing pathway between Deepwater Rd and Castle Cove Dr and improve access to an existing bus stop on Eastern Valley Way.

Council is seeking the views of local residents and interested stakeholders prior to finalising any future capital works program to provide Council with a greater understanding of community sentiment and the potential demand to use the footpath.

It’s important to note that the project is only at preliminary design stage and that the project does not currently have an approved budget allocation to proceed with the works.

We invite local residents let us know how you feel about this proposal before Monday 17 June 2019.

Following consultation, Council will consider the feedback received and notify stakeholders of the outcome.

If you would like to discuss any aspect of the footpath project, please contact Imad Sakr, Willoughby Council Project Manager directly on (02) 9777 7639 or via email Imad.Sakr@Willoughby.nsw.gov.au
