Footpath Improvements - Willoughby Rd/Frenchs Rd

Consultation has concluded

Willoughby City Council wants your feedback about proposed footpath improvements in your local Willoughby Rd shopping precinct area [between Mowbray and Frenchs Rd] before Friday 15 Feb 2019.

Improvements could include streetscape upgrades such as footpath, kerb and gutter and in ground planting beds where required.

The proposed improvements for Willoughby Rd can be seen in the attached streetscape sketch in the Document Library section of this page and include; removing existing concrete, brick and bitumen pathway and replacing with Bitumen infill with Paver Borders to match the other areas of Willoughby Rd and Mowbray Road as well as new street furniture where required within Willoughby Rd between Mowbray Rd and Frenchs Rd, and including Frenchs Rd.

Shop owners should receive a letter and concept plans for the works along with a visit to the premises from Imad Sakr, Council's Project Manager.

Construction is proposed to commence in April for completion in Jun 2019.
