Thank you for your interest. The members for the SRG were selected in December 2019 and they developed issues for a Plan of Management for the Haven Amphitheatre that was adopted by Council in April 2021.
Background
Council is establishing a Stakeholder Reference Group (SRG) to develop a standalone Plan of Management for the Haven Amphitheatre within the Castlehaven Reserve. The SRG will represent the views of key stakeholders, the community and other interested parties. The SRG will consider the Haven Amphitheatre and the location’s importance for environmental conservation, heritage and culture.
The Stakeholder Reference Group will comprise 4 community representatives and a nominated representative from the 6 local stakeholder groups.
Registrations of Interest close 5pm Friday 25 October 2019.
As a member of the SRG, you will be part of a collaborative process involving up to four group sessions commencing November 2019.
The sessions will run on a weekday evening for 2 hours.
A maximum of four evening meetings for the SRG are scheduled for November-December 2019.
Meetings will be held at the Dougherty Centre, Victor Street Chatswood.
NOTE: To be selected for the SRG, you must be available to attend all 4 meetings.
The 4 community representative members will be selected through the EOI process by a panel consisting of the Sailors Bay Ward Councillors, Mayor and Chief Executive Officer. The information that you provide below will be assessed by the selection panel.
The SRG will be facilitated by an external community engagement consultant on behalf of Council.
