What we're doing
Council is seeking feedback on a Planning Proposal involving the proposed listing of 28 Beaconsfield Road, Chatswood, as a heritage item of local significance.
The Planning Proposal seeks to amend Schedule 5 of Willoughby Local Environmental Plan 2012 (WLEP 2012) to list the site as a local heritage item. It also seeks to identify the site as a local heritage item on the WLEP 2012 Heritage Map.
Why we're doing this
The building, interiors and curtilage at 28 Beaconsfield Road, Chatswood, have been assessed to meet the threshold for heritage listing at a local level. Council is considering recognising this significance.
