Consultation has concluded
Willoughby City Council is seeking comment, before Friday 6 December 2019, about proposed streetscape improvements on Penshurst Street between Laurel Street and Mowbray Road in early 2020.
The proposed improvements can be seen in the attached Streetscape Concept Plan. Works will involve removing the existing concrete and bitumen pathway and replacing it with bitumen infill with brick borders to match other new footpath areas on Penshurst Street. As part of the works, sections of new kerb and gutter will be constructed and new street furniture and street trees will also be installed.

The purpose of this community consultation is to inform interested residents of the proposed works and seek comments prior to finalising plans and programming for the project.
As part of the consultation program, Gynt Drinan, will be available to visit premises at the site to answer any questions upon request.
Following the consultation process, Council will review the feedback and notify impacted stakeholders at the site about anticipated time frames for the construction program.
