Willoughby City Council is seeking community feedback for its Draft Castlecrag Griffin Reserves Action Plans 2024 (CGRAPs).

Please review the Draft Castlecrag Griffin Reserves Action Plans 2024 in the Document Library and leave your comments below in the survey prior to closure of the community consultation period at 5pm, 24 May 2024.

The Draft Castlecrag Griffin Reserves Action Plans 2024 cover the reserves on the southern side of the Castlecrag peninsula.

The Griffin Reserves lie in the Griffin Conservation Area of Castlecrag and consists of two estates - the Castlecrag Estate and the Haven Estate. The area currently has its own PoM in recognition of its cultural and historical significance and as specified in the two Deeds of Trust, one for the Castlecrag Estate and one for the Haven Estate as the conservation area is covered by Council's Urban Bushland Plan of Management 2023 (UBPoM), the proposed CGRAPs will be consentient with the policies and objectives of the UBPoM. Key objectives of the CGRAPs is to outline key actions, raise awareness of the Griffin Reserves and encourage community involvement in their preservations. The CGRAPs are reviewed every 5 years.

All community members who leave a comment will receive a response after the community consultation period.
