Significant population growth is expected over the next 20 years in the Willoughby Local Government Area (LGA). This means there may be more people using community facilities in the local area, and there may be a need for new community facilities.
Willoughby City Council is conducting an assessment of the current and future need for community facilities in the LGA. As part of this, we'd like to hear your thoughts about our local community facilities.
What's included in the assessment?
The ‘community facilities’ being assessed include arts and cultural facilities, community centres, libraries, theatre and convention centres, art studios, youth centres, major public artworks, and laneways.
What's not included?
Sports and recreational facilities are not part of this assessment (for example playgrounds, aquatic centres, tennis courts, open space and parks, off-leash dog parks, pavilions, indoor and outdoor sports courts).
