Consultation has concluded

Changes to how Councils consult on planning matters are being proposed by the NSW government.

Community Participations Plans set out how planning authorities including councils will engage the public in their decision making. Every council has a community participation plan including Willoughby City Council.

NSW is proposing a new statewide Community Participation Plan.

Read more and make a submission via the NSW Planning Portal website until 5pm Wednesday 3 June 2026.
