Libraries

From Monday (1 June), we're offering members a free Click and Collectservice at Chatswood Library. Library members can reserve up to 10 items online and will be notified via email when the items are ready for collection. Chatswood Library will be open only for "Click and Collect" Monday to Friday, from 10am to noon, 2pm to 4pm and Thursday evenings 5 – 7pm (excluding public holidays). The library won't be open for general visits. All other branch libraries remain closed. We appreciate your patience as we evolve our service to maintain a safe and healthy space. Email library@willoughby.nsw.gov.au if you have any questions.

Chatswood Mall Market

We're welcoming back more food stalls on Thursday and Friday this week. Check the Facebook page for updates.

Playgrounds, outdoor gyms and Northbridge Baths to open

From Friday, 15 May, you're welcome to use playground equipment and outdoor gyms. As Northbridge Baths is considered an outdoor pool, we're reopening from tomorrow morning as well.

We ask that you practice social distancing when you're visiting these areas and if they're crowded, please return at another time.

We'll provide a weekly clean for playgrounds and gym equipment and ask that you take your own personal hygiene precautions such as using sanitiser, wipes and hand washing.

Our libraries, community centres, Council's customer service centre, Willoughby Leisure Centre and other facilities remain closed, in line with state government advice.

Northbridge Baths

Northbridge Baths will be open, but with restrictions to keep our community safe. Our staff will visit twice each day on weekdays and once a day on weekends to ensure it's not overcrowded. The grassed area in front of the water and hard surfaces are treated like a park so the same rules apply: up to 10 people in total. This could be to exercise or a family picnic. The number of people in the water is limited to 10, with one swimmer in each lane. The amenities block will remain closed. We'll review on Wednesday 20 May and decide whether to keep the facility open. We thank you for your patience and cooperation.
