Under the NSW Local Government Act, the Council is required to review its policy for the provision of expenses and facilities to elected members no later than 12 months after the election of these members.

In line with this legislative provisions, the Council on 27 June 2022 endorsed an updated policy being placed on public exhibition.

This policy, and the Council report considered on 27 June 2022, are available at the right hand side of this page.

Submissions were sought on this draft policy in July-August 2022.

On 22 August 2022, the Council endorsed the Policy. The report to the Council meeting, and the final policy, are available at the right hand side of this page.
