The community were invited to view and comment on Willoughby City Council’s draft Community Participation Plan (CPP) and minor amendment to the Community Engagement Policy (to accommodate the CPP changes) before midnight Monday 7 October 2019.

Background

Our communities have a unique relationship with, and understanding of, the Willoughby local area. Their range of experiences, interests and roles are essential in shaping the planning and land use decisions that affect our city and its neighbourhoods.

We want to ensure all these individuals and groups have the opportunity to have a say on the decisions in our area that affect them.

The draft plan and policy was on exhibition from Monday 9 September 2019 and also available to be viewed at Level 4, 31 Victor Street Chatswood or the Chatswood Library. Written submissions should be addressed to the General Manager, PO Box 57, Chatswood NSW 2057 or email to email@willoughby.nsw.gov.au

This Plan supports the commitments in our community strategic plan, Our Future Willoughby 2028. This includes commitments in outcome 5 – A city that is accountable.

Please note: Comments will be included in publications or reports at the end of the consultation. Personal information will not be included.
