Footpath Improvements
Consultation has concluded
Council is currently seeking feedback on two footpath improvement projects below before Friday 15 February 2019 on High St Willoughby and Willoughby Rd/Frenchs Rd.
Council provides and looks after about 480 kilometres of footpath. All footpaths, even along State roads, are maintained by Council.

Footpath improvement initiatives aim to help us deliver on the following Community Priorities of our 10 year Community Strategic Plan, Our Future Willoughby 2028:

Footpath Improvements - High St, Willoughby

Willoughby City Council wants your thoughts before Friday 15 Feb 2019 about proposed footpath improvements, including include streetscape upgrades which might include footpath, kerb and gutter, and in ground planting beds in your local shopping precinct area.
The proposed improvements for High St can be seen in the attached streetscape sketch in the Document Library section of this page and include; replacing the existing footpath pavement which is Asphalt with a brick border with Shotblast pavers and replacing the existing street furniture within the shopping strip on High St between Alexander Ave and Glover St.
Shop owners should receive a letter and concept plans for the works along with a visit to the premises from Imad Sakr, Council's Project Manager.

Footpath Improvements - Willoughby Rd/Frenchs Rd

Willoughby City Council wants your feedback about proposed footpath improvementsin your local Willoughby Rd shopping precinct area [between Mowbray and Frenchs Rd] before Friday 15 Feb 2019.
Improvements could include streetscape upgrades such as footpath, kerb and gutter and in ground planting beds where required.
The proposed improvements for Willoughby Rd can be seen in the attached streetscape sketch in the Document Library section of this page and include; removing existing concrete, brick and bitumen pathway and replacing with Bitumen infill with Paver Borders to match the other areas of Willoughby Rd and Mowbray Road as well as new street furniture where required within Willoughby Rd between Mowbray Rd and Frenchs Rd, and including Frenchs Rd.
Shop owners should receive a letter and concept plans for the works along with a visit to the premises from Imad Sakr, Council's Project Manager.
