Council has received a Planning Proposal to amend the Willoughby Local Environmental Plan 2012 (WLEP) forlandat 92-96 Victoria Avenue adjoining the North Willoughby local centre. The Planning Proposal is to allow multi dwelling housing on the site including:
An additional permitted land use of “multi dwelling housing” on the site.
Proposed floor space ratio (FSR) of 1:1 for multi dwelling housing on the site.
Heights increased across the site to 10m maximum for multi dwelling housing on the site.
Include a WLEP clause stating that development consent may be granted to development for the purposes of multi dwelling housing on the subject land if the lot size is at least 2,500 square metres.
Amend the WLEP Special Provisions Area (SPA) Map to include the site in Area 9 (Clause 6.8 Affordable Housing) and Area 15 (Clause 6.10 Minimum Lot Sizes).
The exhibition also includes draft amendments to Willoughby Development Control Plan (WDCP) Draft Part I.14relating to the site.
The Planning Proposal (known as PP 2021/3) and draft WDCP amendments was exhibited from Thursday 27 October 2022 until Friday 25 November 2022. Consultation has closed and this matter will now be considered.
