Latest Project Update - February 2026

Construction of the Willoughby Leisure Centre is nearing completion and is expected to be handed over to Council in the coming months. Council’s current expectation is that the Centre will open in August or September, subject to final construction completion and handover. Following handover, essential system commissioning, safety testing, and staff inductions must be completed to ensure the Centre can open safely and confidently. The community will be notified well in advance once a confirmed opening date is locked in.
